Australia's Federal incentive program is one of the most competitive in the marketplace today. Not just labour based, the offset pays a 15% rebate on production costs on all goods and services including cast and crew wages in Australia. The incentive process is clear, timely and provides certainty for producers.

The Department of Communications, IT and the Arts administer the rebate. More information can be found at www.dcita.gov.au

State
The Federal 15% rebate can be combined with the various State-based incentives on offer administered by the State Film Offices. Incentives include cast and crew rebates, location attraction grants and post production/digital production grants.

The State Film Offices also provide locations and filming assistance. They can send you location surveys electronically and fully familiarise you with the various capabilities within their State. For more information, please select the relevant state in the menu on the right.
