Fox Production Services is a company designed to meet the exacting needs of any offshore production filming anywhere in Australia.  We have an excellent relationship with union and government departments and can draw upon Fox’s established relationships with Australia’s top film and television service providers.

All productions filming in Australia must do so through an Australian company.  Using Fox Production Services negates the need to set up your own company which requires an Australian resident director, incurs statutory reporting and tax obligations and negotiation of union agreements. Using Fox Production Services ensures a streamlined production, saving you both time and money.

Production services available to the offshore producer include:

• Advising on Federal and State rebates;
• Organising the budgeting of production (and postproduction) and budget administration;
• Use of our existing Crew and Cast Agreements with the Australian union for cast and crew (Media and Entertainment & Arts Alliance) – which have been used in previous Australian and US tv and film productions together with any other union liaison required;
• Assistance with casting and crewing of a production in Australia.  Fox can advise on A List heads-of-department and technicians;
• Assistance with immigration issues including provision of sponsorship, union and government liaison and procuring of work permits for overseas cast and crew;
• Entry into all contracts with Australian cast, crew and facilities and product suppliers;
• Assistance with Australian taxation arrangements and tax structuring through external advisers;
• Management of the refundable tax offset claim;
• Establishment and administration of production bank accounts;
• Administration of payments for holiday pay, payroll tax, superannuation, fringe benefits tax and government training levies as provided in the budget;
• Discounted travel, accommodation, freight, facilities and equipment hire deals; and
• General government liaison.
